Debbie Allen

Debbie coaches all ages & levels of USFS Learn To Skate, Pre-Preliminary-Juvenile, Adults, Moves in the Field (MIF), Freestyle and Dance. Debbie has been coaching in Canada & USA for over 50 years. She is a dedicated, technical coach, who has her skater’s best interests at heart. She has attended many competitions & test sessions over the years with great results from her skaters. Debbie continues to attend conferences & workshops to keep her knowledge current with the ever changing rules & regulations. Mark Cockerell

Mark is Flight Fit N Fun’s Skating Director and teaches all levels of skaters, kids and adults from beginner to international level competitors, has more than 30 years coaching experience in 5 countries. Mark specializes in all technical aspects of skating, jumps/spins, training, motivation and positive thinking as well as moves in the field and choreography. Mark is a certified Master Freestyle Coach with the Professional Skaters Association.

Maria Grose

Member of Learn to Skate USA, USFS, and PSC

Maria is a Learn to Skate USA certified instructor. She specializes in teaching Basic and Free Skate levels, helping beginner students develop a strong foundation and a love for skating. In addition, Maria works with hockey players on their skating skills.  She grew up skating in Russia and has taught Learn to Skate and private lessons for over 7 years. Tamara Grose

Tamara Grose is a Palmetto Skate Club homegrown coach. She has taught Learn to Skate for several years and still competes on the Senior level. Tamara is a USFS double gold medalist in Moves in the Field and Freeskate. She coaches all ages and all levels, competitive and recreational, Moves in the Field and Freestyle Levels. Madeleine Meyer

Madeleine specializes in teaching Basic Skills, Free Skate, Moves in the Field, and beginning Freestyle levels. She began coaching Learn to Skate in Eau Claire, Wisconsin while in high school. Madeleine fell in love with skating at age 4 when she enrolled in the Learn to Skate program at her former club; she has been skating ever since with a brief hiatus in college. She has competed both individually and with the Eau Claire, WI Golden Edge Synchronized Skating Team. Madeleine accepts students of all ages, children through adults, and is available for individual or group lessons (2 to 5 students maximum). Cassidy Lena

Cassidy is a Palmetto Skate Club homegrown coach. She has been competitively figure skating for 13 years and continues to do so. Cassidy has won the South Atlantic Regional Championships twice and is a USFS Gold Medalist. She loves figure skating and wants to be able to spread that joy to others. She coaches all levels, all ages, competitive or recreational skating. She is available to help with Moves in the Field, Freestyle, choreography, or basic skills.
